The GE Fanuc/VMIC VMIVME-7658 is a dual Pentium III SBC with processor speeds up to 1.26 GHz,equipped with up to 2 GB SDRAM,two fast Ethernet ports,and Ultra320 SCSI.The Pentium III processor has 32-bit addressing and a 64-bit data bus.Its superscalar architecture allows three instructions to be executed per clock cycle.Dynamic branch prediction units,separate instruction and data caches,MMX™technology,and streaming SIMD extensions with 70 new instructions also improve the performance of Pentium III processors.The Pentium III processor has an advanced Transfer cache(ATC).ATC is a secondary cache integrated with the processor core on the same chip.At 1.26 GHz,the ATC is 512 KB.
