The ground fault relay SPAJ 110C is designed for selective ground fault protection(primary protection or backup protection)in directly grounded or low resistance grounded power systems.
The relay has two protection stages:low set overcurrent stage I 0>And high set overcurrent stage I 0>>.The low setting stage operates with timing characteristics or inverse time characteristics,while the high setting stage operates with timing characteristics only.Ground fault relays can be used as primary and backup ground fault protection relays for feeders,transformers,generators and motors.The relay can be configured to work with a residual voltage relay for the operation of a latching/unlatching ground fault relay.
