The IS200ERIOH1AAA board is manufactured by General Electric for the EX2100 excitation regulator and Mark VI series as a whole,providing I/O interfaces for customers and system I/O.It provides these functions for both simplex and redundant regulator control systems.For simplex applications,I/O is installed in the ERBP(excitation regulator backplane)and connects the customer I/O signals for the ECTBG2 terminal board and EPCT terminal board.The IS200ERIOH1AAA is also capable of connecting EROC(Excitation Regulator TAB)and ERDD(Excitation Regulator Interface and Dynamic Discharge)system I/O signals.For redundant applications,it also connects system I/O signals for ERRR(Field regulator Redundant relay).
The excitation regulator I/O is connected to the EROC and ERDD boards via the ERBP or ERRB backplane,the former for simplex applications and the latter for redundancy applications.In addition,ERIO is connected to EPCT and ECTB via two 25-pin connectors that connect to ERBP and ERRB.FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)controls the storage and data acquisition of DPM(dual port memory).This particular device is A revised version of the original part and is represented by an”A”at the end of the model number.
