The FIP Bus Controller(FBC)is a dual channel bus controller that occupies one and a half slots in the IC697PLC VME Integrator rack.FBC is configured using MS-DOS or Windows based programming software.The I/O devices on the FIP bus are asynchronously scanned by the bus controller,and each scan of I/O data is transmitted to the CPU once.
The IC697 PLC system can include up to 31 bus controllers of any type.Among the 31 bus controllers,a maximum of four can be FIP bus controllers.
