　　The HydranTM 201Ti is a small and easy to set up continuous Dissolved gas analysis(DGA)monitor in oil.It provides the basic information used by the IEEE®standard C57.104 and can serve as an important first line of defense for transformers in a fleet to obtain advance warning of failure conditions and minimize the risk of unplanned outages.The 201Ti’s composite gas sensor uses fuel cell technology(called Fixed Instrument-Method 3 in the standard)to deliver the world famous”Hydran gas value.”It has a 100%response to hydrogen(a general fault gas)and is also sensitive to carbon monoxide(overheated paper),acetylene(electric arc)and ethylene(overheated oil),thus covering the root cause of all main transformer failures.Because the monitoring device is mounted on a single valve and uses dynamic oil sampling,there is no need for pumps or additional lines to be connected to different valves.Due to its simple features and easy to understand information,the 201Ti has been one of the preferred monitors for many years and is one of the most installed monitors of all.The Hydran 201Ti display features the latest Mark IV version and has been overhauled with a new electronic board and power supply to make it RoHS compliant,addressing any obsoletisation issues and further improving a time-proven product.
