The FBM207 P0914TD FOXBORO voltage monitoring module functions as a 16-channel DC voltage monitor or a 16-channel contact sensor.Each channel accepts 2-wire input from a DC voltage source(FBM207)or a pair of contacts or a solid-state switch(FBM207b/FBM207c).The associated terminal components(TA)support discrete input signals at 60 V DC,120 VAC/125 V DC or 240 VAC voltages.For voltages above 60 V DC,TA has additional signal conditioning hardware that provides voltage attenuation and optical isolation.
Discrete inputs can be sensed at all common voltage levels in industrial facilities.The FBM207/b/c uses one of several terminal components to match the voltage level of the external supply.In cases where inputs are critical to a plant’s control scheme,the FBM 207/b/c can be installed as a redundant pair with standard control blocks for managing redundancy.
