　　AN-X2-AB-DHRIO is an Ethernet/IP to Allen Bradley Remote I/O/Data Highway Plus(DH+)gateway module manufactured by Prosoft Technology.This module allows ControlLogix or CompactLogix controllers that utilize Ethernet/IP communication to communicate with PLC,SLC 500,PanelView,drivers,and Flex I/O adapter modules that are capable of remote I/O(RIO)or Data Highway Plus(DH+)communication.This module provides one RJ45 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port and two(2)3-pin Phoenix connectors for power and DH+/RIO network connections.

　　AN-X2-AB-DHRIO is a communication module manufactured by Prosoft Technology,a partner company of Allen Bradley.This communication device is a small and compact device that supports desktop or DIN rail installation.It allows modern programmable automation controllers(PACs),such as Allen Bradley’s ControlLogix and CompactLogix controllers,to communicate with devices utilizing traditional remote I/O(RIO)and Data Highway Plus(DH+)communication protocols.

　　AN-X2-AB-DHRIO is equipped with one(1)Ethernet I/P communication interface,supporting a data transfer rate of 10/100 mbps.This port connects the PAC port to the gateway,while AN-X2-AB-DHRIO’s available 3-pin Phoenix network connector allows for daisy chain connections of devices such as Allen Bradley’s PLC,SLC 500,PanelView,drivers,and Flex I/O adapter modules.This communication interface supports configurable data transmission rates,including 57.6,115.2,and 230.4 K baud rates.It is also equipped with another 3-pin Phoenix connector for terminating an external 24 VDC power supply.

　　AN-X2-AB-DHRIO is also equipped with a built-in web server,allowing remote monitoring and configuration of the gateway.Other supported operations that can be launched through a web server include displaying diagnostic data,configuring,uploading configuration files,and setting operating modes.This can be done through a standard web browser.

　　The AN-X2-AB-DHRIO module is an Allen Bradley Ethernet/IP to DH+or RIO network connector.This communication module in the ControlLogix series helps connect ControlLogix PLCs or other compatible devices to the Allen Bradley remote I/O network.The communication module has one I/O channel.It supports all remote I/O baud rates from 57.6 to 230.4 kbaud.This module supports rack numbers ranging from 0 to 76 octals.This utility maps remote I/O data to ControlLogix schedule data.This module is connected to the ControlLogix processor through a predetermined connection on the Ethernet.There are two LED indicator lights on the front of the communication module to display the Ethernet connection status,and one LED indicator light to display the internal communication status of the module.
