I.Main functions and features

Gateway function:

LD800HSE acts as a gateway for field devices between H1 links and HSE subnets,realizing the connection between FF HSE high-speed Ethernet protocol and up to 4 H1 links.

It allows access to field devices integrated through FOUNDATION Fieldbus from monitoring systems and management consoles.

Redundant configuration:

When the H1 ports of two linking devices are connected to one H1 connection,a redundant configuration can be achieved.

Independent redundancy between primary and secondary linking devices ensures reliable redundant failover and monitoring.

Device management:

LD800HSE can identify connected H1 devices and access and manage H1 devices through HSE.

It also allows access to function blocks of H1 devices through HSE client/server.

Data publishing and subscription:

LD800HSE supports publishing process data from one H1 link to another link,and also supports publishing process data from H1 to HSE,and vice versa.

It can also distribute alarms and events sent by H1 devices.

Configuration and Update:

LD800HSE provides transparent H1 device configuration,which allows connected H1 devices to be configured from the host system.

It also supports firmware updates via download.
