Communication and interface:The input data word is transferred from its memory to the PLC processor using block transfer read and write(BTR)and(BTW)instructions.

Self-diagnosis:During power-on,the module performs self-diagnosis and reports its status.

Open circuit detection:An open circuit detection function is provided when the thermocouple fails.
