1.Compatibility

The 1746-HSRV servo module is compatible with the SLC 500 series and is specifically designed for SLC 5/03™FRN 5.0,SLC 5/04™or SLC 5/05™SLC servo modules.

2.Functional features

Programming flexibility:The module can be programmed for incremental,absolute or velocity movement depending on the application.

Complex motion control:It allows the execution of complex motion profiles consisting of 2 to 32 segments,and the execution of motion blocks is independent of the processor’s scan time.

High-precision positioning:The 1746-HSRV module can control the absolute position within a 32-bit range and perform origin search(also known as homing),automatically resetting the absolute position to the origin when an encoder mark,limit switch,or both are detected.

Multiple operation modes:Supports mixed movement,absolute movement,incremental movement,speed movement,monitoring movement,hold movement,release movement,emergency stop operation,positioning operation,preset operation,and fault clearing.

III.Configuration and operation

Configuration mode:In configuration mode,the 1746-HSRV servo module can be configured using an M file containing data provided by the SLC 5/03(or above)processor.All configuration parameters are internal to the servo module and stored in RAM without battery backup.In configuration mode,the appropriate setting configuration that matches the servo drive and motor can be selected without setting switches and dedicated software.If you do not set the configuration yourself,the configuration will be set to the default setting.

Command mode:In command mode,the SLC processor issues commands and activates various movements and operations.Motor operation is performed in command mode.
