Product Description
8922-RB-IS EATON PAC8000 Railbus Signal Isolator
Function:Provides current isolation between track bus sections, prevents fault voltage intrusion, and protects on-site wiring modules
Purpose:Used for the PAC8000 Railbus system in railway vehicles
Features
PAC8000 I/O is a fully modular I/O solution suitable for general and hazardous area applications. It provides multiple I/O functions and has an open architecture that allows communication with various different fieldbuses by selecting the appropriate type of Bus Interface Module(BIM)or controller.
The on-site terminals(one for each I/O module)are inserted into the carrier and accept on-site wiring, without the need for additional terminals or connections. If damaged on site,it can be easily replaced.A comprehensive mechanical key control system ensures equipment safety.
The carrier forms the physical and electrical backbone of PAC8000 by providing installation on flat plates or T-shaped or G-shaped DIN rails. They support and interconnect BIMs or controllers, power supplies,I/O modules, and field terminals, and carry internal Railbus addresses, data, and power cables
When using any 2/1 module in a node,a PAC8000 Railbus isolator is required. This device provides current isolation between modules connected to the intrinsic safety field wiring on the 2/1 side of the isolator and modules connected to the traditional wiring on the 2/2 side.
The 8922-RB-IS EATON PAC8000 Railbus signal isolator is a signal isolator used in the PAC8000 Railbus system in railway vehicles. It can provide high isolation, effectively prevent fault voltage intrusion, and protect on-site wiring modules.
This isolator adopts a sturdy and durable design, which can withstand harsh environmental conditions. It is easy to install and maintain, and complies with relevant railway standards.
