Product Description
The 8237-1597 WOODWARD overspeed protector is used to provide overspeed protection for mechanical or rotating equipment.
Features:
high sensitivity
quick response
Reliable and stable
Easy to install and debug
8237-1597 is an overspeed protector produced by WOODWARD,specifically designed to monitor the speed of rotating machinery and trigger alarms or shut down equipment when reaching or exceeding predetermined safety limits.
The 8237-1597 WOODWARD overspeed protector adopts advanced sensing technology and electronic control, which can monitor the speed of rotating equipment in real time.Once the speed exceeds the preset safety threshold, the protector will immediately trigger an alarm signal or shut down the device to prevent damage or danger caused by overspeed.
The 8237-1597 WOODWARD overspeed protector is a configurable overspeed detection system designed to safely shut down steam, gas, and hydraulic turbines of various sizes when an overspeed or over acceleration event is detected.Provide two dual redundant trip relay outputs using a 3-to-2 voting architecture,or three independent non voting trip relay outputs with separate alarm relays,4-20 mA speed readings, and Modbus®Communication makes it possible for this overspeed device to be easily integrated into any turbine safety system. This ProTech GII model is a partition mounted,high-voltage/high-voltage power input, voting relay/voting input safety device used for steam turbine overspeed protection.
application area
The 8237-1597 WOODWARD overspeed protector is widely used in overspeed equipment for steam, gas, water turbines, reciprocating engines,or factory processing equipment of any size.
