　　The 3500/40M 140734-01 Preprocessor monitor is a four-channel module that takes signals from vibration sensors and converts them into digital signals that can be used for monitoring and analysis.The module receives input signals from speed,acceleration or displacement sensors,filters,amplifies,digitizes,etc.,and then outputs the digital signals to the monitor modules in 3500 racks.

　　The 3500/40M Proximitor Monitor is a four-channel monitor that accepts input from the Bently Nevada proximity sensor,adjusts the signal to provide various vibration and position measurements,and compares the adjusted signal to a user-programmable alarm.Users can program each channel of the 3500/40M using the 3500 rack configuration software to perform any of the following functions:

　　l Radial vibration

　　l eccentricity

　　l Rebalance

　　l thrust position

　　l differential expansion

　　The main purpose of the 3500/40M preprocessor monitor is to provide the following:

　　l Mechanical protection is achieved by constantly comparing monitored parameters with configured alarm points to drive alarms

　　l Basic machine information for operators and maintenance personnel

　　Depending on the configuration,each channel typically adjusts its input signal to generate a variety of parameterized static values.You can configure alarm setting points for each active static value and danger setting points for any two active static values.

　　You can program the monitor channels in pairs.The monitor channel can perform up to two of these functions at a time.Channels 1 and 2 May perform one function,while channels 3 and 4 perform another(or the same)function.

　　The module has a modular design and is easy to install and maintain.Four LED indicators on the front panel of the module are used to indicate the signal status of each channel.There are two connectors on the back plate of the module for connecting the vibration sensor and the monitor module.
