The 3500/22M BENTLY Transient Data Interface Module is a multifunctional and reliable solution for collecting and analyzing transient data in industrial environments. It provides accurate real-time monitoring of machinery and equipment, which helps with proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.
The 3500/22M Transient Data Interface(TDI)is an interface between the 3500 Monitoring System and compatible software(System 1 Condition Monitoring and Diagnostic Software and 3500 System Configuration Software).TDI combines the functionality of the 3500/20 Rack Interface Module(RIM)with the data acquisition capabilities of communication processors such as TDXnet.
The TDI is located in a slot near the power supply of the a3500 rack.It interfaces with M-series monitors(3500/40M,3500/42M,etc.)to continuously collect steady-state and transient dynamic(waveform)data, and transmit this data to the host software through an Ethernet link. For more information, please refer to the compatibility section at the end of this document.
Static data capture capability is a standard configuration of TDI.However, using optional channels to enable disks will allow TDI to capture dynamic and high-resolution transient data.TDI includes communication processor functionality within a 3500 rack.
Although TDI provides certain functions that are common to the entire rack,it is not part of the critical monitoring path and has no impact on the correct and normal operation of the overall monitoring system for mechanical automatic protection. Each 3500 rack requires a TDI or RIM,which always occupies slot 1(near the power supply).
Application field
The 3500/22M 288055-01 BENTLY Transient Data Interface Module is used to capture and analyze sensor data in real-time for monitoring and diagnosing machinery and equipment.
