　　The Greenspring VIPC610 VMEbus IP carrier is part of the IndustryPack modular I/O component family.As a carrier,VIPC610 provides mechanical support and electrical interfaces for four single high Industry Packs or two dual high IPs.Supports input/output,memory,and interrupt functions.Provide backup batteries on board.Each IndustryPack interface comes with a 50 pin flat cable connector that can be accessed through the front panel of VIPC610.The four IP locations are commonly referred to as slots and are identified by the letters A,B,C,and D.The interface of packages A and C is coordinated with the straight socket connector;The interface of packages B and D is compatible with the right angle connector.This arrangement provides inherent stress relief.The interface connector is directly installed on the VME board(rather than on the IP),providing a modular and reliable wiring system.You don’t need to remove VIPC610 from the VME chassis to insert or remove interface cables.IP can be quickly inserted or removed without interfering with I/O wiring.
