The 301140 PILZ digital input/output module provides 8 digital inputs,8 digital outputs,and 2 dedicated test pulse outputs.Input suitable for connecting single channel or dual channel safety related input devices,with or without test pulses.The input and output are driven by PSS compatible with SafetyBUS p.The device address of the module is established by setting the address switch on the unit.The inputs on the module can be assigned to two I/O groups.
There are 6 positive and 2 negative switches with 2A output.Two positive switch outputs can be combined with two negative switch outputs(one each)to form two bipolar outputs.On its own,negative switching output can only be used for non safety related applications,where switching to ground is allowed.All outputs have short-circuit,overload,and high temperature protection.They are suitable for connecting resistive loads and inductive loads.The positive switch output is suitable for connecting capacitive loads up to 1µF.
301140 PILZ requires two 24V power supplies with a common ground.The power supply supplies power to module electronic devices and specialized test pulse outputs.The load power supply is the output power supply.
