The PanelView Standard Operator terminal with catalog number 2711-K10C8 is a PanelView 1000. This PanelView 1000 product category features the largest screen size among the PanelView Standard family. It is capable of implementing real-time process monitoring and control and may also contribute to increased control efficiency as monitoring and control are performed from a common place.
Through the 10-inch colored screen with resolution of 640 x 480, the machine or process operator is able to view and observe the process. With the embedded keypad assembly that is composed of Sixteen (16) function keys from F1 to F16, numeric keys, navigation and confirmation keys, the operator is able to implement the necessary control actions and task to control the system.
Operator command and instrument status are sent and received via the embedded communication interface that supports Data Highway Plus (DH+) over a 1770-CD or Belden 9463 cable which is a 3-conductor cable, connected in daisy-chain topology. This communication protocol is one of the mature protocols that the PanelView Standard Operator terminals supports. The secondary communication port supports communication with an alarm and events printer with selectable communication rate of 1200, 2400, 9600, 19,200 Kbps.
