There are a lot of benefits from the features of this module such as NEMA type 3 inputs, DIP switches set rack address, and hardware watchdog functions. You can choose from a broad range of sensors due to the NEMA type 3 inputs feature. You can also reduce commissioning time by using DIP switches set rack address. Hardware watchdog function alerts you to damages to the microprocessor. The input characteristics of 1791R-16B0 are quite similar to the 1791D series. This module has 16 sinking inputs, so the current will flow from input to output. The maximum off-state voltage input of this module is 5 Volts DC. The minimum off-state current input of this module is 1.5 milliamps. Be sure to deliver power that has a higher current than 1.5 milliamps.
