The 1769-IT6 A-B Thermocouple/mV Input Module is a high-precision,high-speed,reliable,durable,easy-to-use,and powerful module that can convert thermocouple or mV signals into digital signals for PLC use.This module can meet different application requirements and is widely used in various industrial control fields.
Allen Bradley 1769-IT6 is a programmable controller module that belongs to the compact I/O series.This module is a thermocouple and millivolt input module with six(6)channels,compatible with thermocouple sensors J,K,T,E,R,N,S,B,N,C,and CJC sensors,and accepts+/-50mV and+/-10mV,with a working range of-50 to+50mV and-10 to+10mV signals.It is compatible with both CompactLogix and MicroLogix controllers.
The Allen Bradley 1769-IT6 thermocouple/mV input module is a compact device that can measure thermocouple and millivolt signals.These measured values are digitally converted and stored as analog data in any combination of up to six thermocouples or millivolt analog sensors.Provide over range,under range,open circuit detection and indication.
The 1769-IT6 compact input module has 6 input channels and 2 CJC sensors.It has a Delta Sigma converter type,and the response speed of each channel depends on the input filter and configuration.It communicates with the controller through a bus interface and receives power from the 5-24V DC system power supply.The maximum current consumed by the 1769-IT6 module is 100 mA at 5 V DC voltage and 40 mA at 24 V DC voltage.After being powered on and the channel is enabled,the input module will perform automatic calibration.Automatic calibration can also be programmed to run every five minutes.
1769-IT6 has passed UL 508 certification,C-UL certification(according to CSA C22.2 No.142),and complies with CE standards for applicable directives.It can be connected to adjacent I/O modules or controllers before or after installation(replacement of individual modules).To reduce electrical noise,please install this measuring device at least two slots away from the AC power supply.When installing,please maintain a minimum distance of two inches on all sides to ensure sufficient ventilation.
This module is very suitable for temperature applications as thermocouple instruments are specifically designed for temperature measurement.In addition,millivolt signals are commonly used to connect sensors.
This module is specifically compatible with temperature measurement,such as J-type temperature of-210…+1200°C,K-type temperature of-270…+1370°C,T-type temperature of-270…+400°C,E-type temperature of-270…+1000°C,R-type temperature of 0…+1768°C,S-type temperature of 0…+1768°C,B-type temperature of+300…+1820°C,N-type thermocouple temperature of 210…+1300°C,C-type thermocouple temperature of 0…+2315°C.Each analog input can be configured as engineering units,scaled PID,and raw/proportional data.
This module is designed to perform open circuit,short circuit,over range,and under range detection on each of the six(6)channels.You can also choose an input filter to stabilize the measurement.Optional input filters include 10 Hz,50 Hz,60 Hz,250 Hz,500 Hz,and 1 kHz.
This module does not require an external power supply.It occupies a slot in the chassis and receives 5VDC and 24VDC power from the communication bus.
