The 1762-IF4 A-B Compact Four(4)Differential Channel Analog Input Module is a high-precision,high-speed,reliable,durable,easy-to-use,and powerful module that can convert analog voltage signals into digital signals for use by PLCs.This module can meet different application requirements and is widely used in various industrial control fields.
1762-IF4 is a compact four(4)differential channel analog input module.This module supports 4-20 mA and-10 to 10V DC signals.This module is compatible with MicroLogix 1100,1200,and 1400 programmable logic controllers.
1762-IF4 is an Allen Bradley MicroLogix 1200 with a 4-channel current/voltage analog input module.It has a Delta Sigma converter and 4 differential(bipolar)inputs.Its simulated working voltage range is-10 to 10 volts DC normal voltage and-10.5 to 10.5 volts DC full range.The normal range of its simulated working current is 4 to 20 mA,and the full range is-21 to 21 mA.This module enhances the functionality of MicroLogix by allowing the system to attach I/O.It requires minimum spacing and can be installed with DIN rails or panels.This module communicates and receives information about 5 to 24 volt DC power supplies through the 1762 bus interface.
When wiring input terminal blocks,there is a finger safety cover.Flat ribbon cables are used to connect various I/O modules.The 1762-IF4 module supports 2-wire,3-wire,or 4-wire transmitter configurations.During the troubleshooting process,users should always stay away from the device and check for any program changes.The safety circuit should always be connected in series to the main relay.
The 1762-IF4 module should be installed in a non hazardous,dry,and clean environment,and the circuit should not exceed the Class II overvoltage standard.To avoid damaging the module,be sure to prevent electrostatic discharge and disconnect the power supply.A flash operating system that can be upgraded on-site helps ensure that users always have access to the latest features without the need to replace any hardware.The number of I/O can be expanded by using inorganic rack I/O modules.This will bring greater control systems,greater application flexibility,and the ability to expand with lower costs and fewer parts inventory.
This module has four(4)input channels,each of which can be configured to receive current and voltage signals ranging from-21 to 21 mA and-10 to+10 VDC,respectively.
The selection of input signal type is done through the provided DIP switch.The received voltage signal is converted into binary code stored in the analog input register through an analog-to-digital(ADC)converter.The converted data can be in both raw/proportional and PID proportional formats.
If used with MicroLogix 1100,a maximum of four(4)expansion modules are allowed,possibly 1764-IF4.If installed together with MicroLogix 1200,six(6)expansion modules can be connected,and seven(7)modules can be connected to MicroLogix 1400.
Expansion modules such as 1764-IF4 are connected to the MicroLogix bus through provided ribbon cables,which are connected through pin contacts installed on the front panel of each module.The installation of this module follows the installation method of MicroLogix basic modules,specifically DIN rail or direct panel installation.
The dimensions of this module are 90 millimeters(height)x 87 millimeters(depth)x 40 millimeters(width),including installation tabs,with a height of 110 millimeters(3.54 inches).
