The 1747-L532 A-B controller module is a high-performance,reliable,durable,easy-to-use,and powerful module that can serve as the CPU of the SLC 500 PLC to control the entire PLC system.This module can meet different application requirements and is widely used in various industrial control fields.
1747-L532 is the SLC 5/03 controller module for Allen Bradley’s SLC 500 modular hardware.It has 16KB of memory and is equipped with communication interfaces such as RS-232 port and DH485 communication port.It has 4096 input points and 4096 output points,with an analog I/O count of 480,user memory of 16K words,and an I/O scan time of 0.225 milliseconds.
Allen Bradley 1747-L532 is an SLC 5/03 processor that is part of the SLC 500 system.It is a small,simple,and compact processor with a wide range of applications,such as small process control,material handling,and HVAC control.It contains advanced instruction sets based on PLC-5 processors.It can be independent or distributed throughout the entire system of SCADA applications.The total user memory of the 1747-L532 processor is 16K words,of which 12K words are used for data/programs and 4K words are used for data only.It has up to 4096 inputs,4096 outputs,and 480 local analog I/O.The program scan time for each keyword is 1 millisecond.The backplane current of 1747-L532 is 500 mA at 5 V DC voltage and 175 mA at 24 V DC voltage.It has a maximum of 2 local I/O chassis,with a maximum of 30 module I/O slots in the local I/O chassis.

1747-L532 Programmable Logic Controller(PLC)is an SLC 500 processor,also known as the SLC 5/03 controller.This controller is designed to be used in conjunction with the modular SLC 500 series manufactured by Allen Bradley.This specific controller is capable of executing basic and advanced instructions,allowing any user to build simple user programs to implement complex control logic.These instructions include bits,timers,controllers,comparisons,basic mathematics,move,copy and bit shift,sequencers,jumps and subroutines,message passing,STI,first in first out/last in first out,PID,advanced mathematics,and triangle instructions.
The integrated communication port of this controller is an RS232 port,which can be configured as DF1 or DH485,both suitable for point-to-point applications.The default configuration of RS232 is DF1 full duplex,handshake disabled,communication rate of 19.2Kbaud,CRC error checking,duplicate packet detection enabled,and parity set to none.It can also be automatically detected in the RSLinx communication tool through the automatic configuration driver mode.The default setting for channel 1 DH485 port is 19.2 Kbaud,with node address=1.
The integrated memory of this SLC 5/03 processor is 16KB.This controller supports burning programs to backup memory for automatic loading of user programs during power cycles.This can prevent unnecessary deletion of PLC programs when 1747-BA is exhausted during integration.This battery is equipped with LED indicator lights to indicate the battery’s battery level status.
