Ethernet Connection:
Supports 10/100 Mbps transmission rate and auto-negotiation function.
Provides two Ethernet ports and supports redundant I/P addressing.
Communication Protocol:
Can execute Service Request Transport Protocol(SRTP),Modbus TCP,and Ethernet Global Data(EGD)protocols through a four-layer TCP/IP(Internet)protocol stack.
Supports TCP/IP services using Serial Real-time Transport Protocol(SRTP)and SRTP channels.
Can act as a MODBUS TCP server and MODBUS TCP client.
Time Synchronization:
Can be used to synchronize time with an SNTP time server over Ethernet TCP/IP.
Station Manager Function:
An RS-232 serial port is provided,supporting data rates from 1200 bps to 115200 bps.
The built-in station manager function is accessible via serial and Ethernet connections,providing monitoring access.
Services provided by the station manager include commands for polling and controlling stations,access to monitoring statistics,logs and configuration parameters,and password security.
Hot Swap Function:
Supports insertion(hot swap)when power is present or the processor is in run mode,but firmware version 2.51 must be installed to enable this feature.
Compatibility:
Compatible with any other PACSystem RX3i module except CPE400.
Can be installed using compatible backplanes IC695CHS007,CHS012 or CHS016.
