Purpose:Used to convert traditional BASIC programs used on 1747-BAS and 1771-DB modules to ControlLogix systems.

II.User Interface and Ports

Port Composition:The user interface of MVI56-BAS consists of three ports,namely DH-485,PRT1 and PRT2.

Port Function:These ports are used for communication,BASIC program transfer,ASCII communication,programming or DF1 communication.

III.Storage and Memory

Flash Disk Slot:MVI56-BAS is equipped with a Compact Flash Disk slot,which can use CF cards to store BASIC programs.

Memory:The device has 24065 bytes of available RAM.

Main functions:This communication module can create BASIC programs,allow data transfer with ControlLogix processors,and create external device interfaces for special applications.
