VMIVME-2540 is a VME bus intelligent counter/controller designed for a variety of applications on industrial production lines,such as CPU management and input and output communication.It provides high-precision digital measurement and generation capabilities and supports a variety of functions such as measurement,generation and position control.

Measurement functions:

Event counting:Able to count up to 4 Giga events,showing excellent processing capabilities and counting accuracy.

Frequency measurement:Frequency measurement range is 1.16×10^-3 Hz to 2.5 MHz.

Period/pulse width measurement:The measurement range is 400 ns to 8.5899×10^6 s(32-bit floating point number),or 400 ns to 858 s(32-bit unsigned integer).

Quadrature position measurement:Sine/cosine frequencies up to 1 MHz,32-bit counters with limit/modulus checking.

Generation functions:

Pulse train/square wave generation:Generation range is 0.0076 Hz to 2.5 MHz.

Timer/periodic interrupt generation:Timer/periodic VME bus interrupter range is 0.0076 to 1,000 Hz.

Frequency division function.

Quadrature position control output:±1/4 wave control resolution,up to 1.25 MHz step rate,±32767 steps per instruction

Control/measurement interface:24 control/measurement interfaces are provided,including 24 clocks,24 gates and 24 outputs.
