TRICONEX 2101 is a high-performance control system.The following is a detailed introduction to it:

1.System Overview

The TRICONEX 2101 system consists of Trident series modules,which are suitable for applications with fewer points and distributed I/O.The system is controlled by three main processor(MP)modules located on a baseboard,and each MP module serves as a channel of the triple Trident system.In addition,the system is equipped with a communication module(CM)as a three-to-one interface to connect MP,supporting industry standard communication protocols.

2.Module Function

Main Processor Module(MP):

Controls the operation of the entire system.

Votes and processes input data from field devices.

Communication Module(CM):

Provides communication connection between MP modules.

Supports redundant communication connection or independent communication port.

Analog Input Module(AI):

Each module has three isolated channels and can independently process analog inputs from field devices.

Transmits data to the MP module associated with the channel for processing.

Analog Output Module(AO):

Each module has three isolated channels and can independently accept data from MP modules.

The voting circuit selects a single channel to drive the output and shunts the output of other channels.

Digital input module(DI):

Each module has three isolated channels that can independently process digital inputs from field devices.

Transmits data to the MP module associated with the channel.

Solid-state relay output module(SRO):

Each module has three isolated channels that can independently accept data from the MP module associated with each channel.

Drives the relay coil using the voting value.

I/O expander module:

Used to transfer I/O information from one I/O column to another.

Provides logic power terminals for each I/O column.
