　　The 1771-IBN A-B Discrete Input Module is a highly reliable,user-friendly,and powerful module that supports multiple input types.It can convert discrete switch signals into digital signals for use by PLCs.This module can meet different application requirements and is widely used in various industrial control fields.

　　Allen Bradley 1771-IBN is a PLC5 discrete input module.This module is a DC input module with thirty-two(32)input channels.It is designed to accept a signal voltage range of 10-30VDC and is compatible with installation in 1771 chassis,such as 1771-A1B to 1771-A4B.

　　Allen Bradley 1771-IBN is a 24VDC discrete input module in the Bulletin 1771 product series.This module is a programmable logic controller(PLC)module used to connect external signal devices such as switches,sensors,auxiliary contacts,allowing for the flow of 24VDC voltage or signal voltage within the range of 10-30VDC.

　　1771-IBN has thirty-two(32)input channels,with a nominal input range of 4.7 mA 10VDC or 15.6 mA 30VDC.The minimum off state current at 5VDC is 1.7 mA.The maximum off state voltage of each channel in this module is 5VDC,and the minimum on voltage is 10VDC.The input signal delay of this module is 6 ms+/-2 ms(low to high and high to low propagation).Its maximum power consumption is 16.4 watts,maximum heat dissipation is 53.3 BTU/hour,and minimum heat dissipation is 5.1 BTU/hour.The maximum backplane current consumption of this module at 5VDC is 280 mA.

　　When terminating the signal equipment to the input module,the appropriate wire size is 0.25-2.5 square millimeters(22…14 AWG)solid copper wire or twisted copper wire,with an insulation grade of 75°C(167°F)or higher,and a maximum insulation thickness of 1.2 millimeters(3/64 inches).It requires a field wiring arm with catalog number 1771-WN,with a torque of 1.0 nm for the wiring arm screws.It has an open shell.

　　1771-IBN uses 32-bit registers to directly represent each channel of the module.In addition,the 1771-IBN also has thirty-two(32)LED indicator lights dedicated to each input channel.

　　It directly controls the status of the corresponding bits in the PLC data table.It provides modular design by adding inputs to PLC control systems in a space saving manner.It is equipped with a 1771-WN wiring arm to replace modules without disconnecting the wiring.It is a C-series module that supports 1/2 and 1 slot I/O addressing.It is compatible with power switch equipment such as dry contact switches,electromechanical transmitters,as well as panel switch equipment such as selector switches and buttons.

　　The 1771-IBN module has 32 inputs(4 groups,8 in each group),with a voltage category of 10-60V DC current(source load).Its working voltage range is 10-30V DC.Its typical signal delay in On DC state is 6ms(+/-2),and in Off DC state it is 6ms(+/-2).Its maximum off state current is 1.7mA,and the backplane current load is 280mA.Its maximum power consumption is 15.6W,and its heat dissipation is 53.3 BTU/hour.It is installed in a 1771 I/O enclosure containing a PLC processor.The keyband used to place it in the right slot is located between pins 18 and 20 of the upper connector and pins 14 and 16 of the lower connector.

　　There are 32 status indicator lights on the front panel of the 1771-IBN module.It includes photoelectric isolation function,which can protect the system circuit from the impact of electrical transients.It also includes input filtering function to reduce electrical noise.
