　　1764-LRP is a MicroLogix 1500 controller manufactured by Allen Bradley.1764-LRP has fourteen(14)KB of memory and supports communication protocols such as DH-485,Modbus,DF1,and ASCII through an integrated RS232 communication port.

　　Allen Bradley 1764-LRP is a MicroLogix 1500 processor.It is a component of the MicroLogix 1500 programmable controller,providing large memory solutions for various applications.It provides 14K words of user configurable memory for data and programs.For a 1K word program(including bits,counters,timers,and mathematical instructions),the program execution time is approximately 1 millisecond.In the controller system,the 1764-LRP processor unit provides fine-tuning potentiometers,run/remote/program mode switches,communication switch buttons,and logic processing.It serves as an interface for real-time clock,DAT,and memory modules.This processor supports up to 8 I/O modules in an additional I/O group using controller components.

　　The 1764-LRP processor comes with an additional communication port and a DTE(male)9-pin D-shell connector with 30 volt DC isolation function.This RS-232 port is electrically isolated and used for point-to-point and SCADA/RTU networks,DeviceNet,EtherNet/IP,and DH-485 ports.It can be configured separately for any supported communication protocol(Channel 1).Due to 1764-LRP being an enhanced version of the standard processing unit,an isolator is not required when connecting the MicroLogix controller system using 1764-LRP to a computer.Once the battery indicator light is on,the module requires a backup battery as the original battery can only last for at least 7 days.

　　The data within 1764-LRP can be protected by using lithium batteries.The battery is replaceable with part number 1747-BA.The battery can be monitored through the LED indicator lights provided by the processor.Once the indicator is activated,it means that the battery level will be depleted within seven(7)days.As long as the external power supply is active,the battery can be replaced at any time.Do not attempt to replace the battery without power on.
